QPS Holdings LLC acquired a controlling stake in Bioserve Clinical Research Private Limited now known as QPS Bioserve India (P) Limited

DEAL BRIEF

QPS Holdings LLC ("QPS"), a US based contract research organisation focussed on bioanalysis, drug metabolism & pharmacokinetics, translational medicine, toxicology, early stage clinical and late stage clinical research, through its subsidiary XDD Acquisition B.V. acquired a controlling stake in Bioserve Clinical Research Private Limited ("Bioserve"), now known as QPS Bioserve India (P) Limited.

Bioserve is a private company in India and is engaged in the business of, inter alia, clinical trials and offers early stage capabilities in high end bioavailability and bioequivalence (BA/BE) and toxicology studies.

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as Indian legal and tax counsel to QPS for this acquisition.
