Synopsys acquires Silicon and Beyond Private Limited

DEAL BRIEF

Synopsys, Inc., the world’s 15th largest software company, has acquired a Bangalore based company, Silicon and Beyond Private Limited. Silicon and Beyond Private Limited is a leading provider of a technology known as “high-speed SerDes technology” which is used in data intensive applications such as machine learning, cloud computing, and networking. Synopsys, which is headquartered in the United States of America and has presence across Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East, Japan and Australia, is a global leader in electronic design automation and semiconductor intellectual property.
